A special topiary technique that turns a normal, boring hedge into something of much more mathematical interest. Using his special 'Impossible Shears' and 'Half-twist Hedge-trimmer', the gardener creates a work of *impossible* beauty out of a solid-seeming hedge. Could be used to decorate the gardens of rich mathematicians.

the trouble with pruning is that you cannot cedar trees for the wood.
