Simply a straight razor with 2 blades...
Blades can be opened either one at a time or as a joined unit: since the blades are 1mm thick, the edges are 1mm apart and offset latitudinally 1mm, approximately the dimensions of a commercial disposable "twin blade" razors.
Easy to use and easy to
clean.
To sharpen, strop the razors one at a time as usual; every few years they will probably need to be sharpened with the provided tool, to maintain proper parallax.

But why? The whole twin-blade nonsense is a way to sell cheap, mass produced plastic items at massively inflated prices - that's why they spend so much on advertising and gimmickry (two blades, three blades, lube strip, *power* versions(!), funky plastic mouldings etc - not to mention the names "Fusion", "Power", "Mach3", "Quattro", "Protector" - never has so much hype been bestowed upon such rubbish) the product wouldn't sell itself otherwise - 1 blade is plenty, and much safer when using a straight-edge. It'd be Edward Scissorhands in no-time! |

The best thing about a cut-throat razor is that you use one blade which often outlasts you. This would halve that advantage. |

eh? rite is right, or should it have been 'rite of passages'? |

Nobody's getting a blade near my passage. |
