Late at night, when the mist swirls thick and low around the house; when the low of distant cattle is indistinguishable from the howling of distant wolves and werewolves... You want this baby by your side.
Gimbal-mounted to fire from gunnery ports in an armoured glass observation turret on the rooftop,
the URM delivers 6000 rounds per minute, each one a 12.7x 350mm rosewood stake with a hollowpoint, silver bullet-pointed tip. With a mix of high explosive; holy water; tracer or concentrated garlic in the tip reservoirs and razor-sharp popup fins for longer range accuracy.
A little like the crossbow in Van Helsing, with high velocity ammunition and a much increased rate of fire.
Handy for zombies, werewolves, vampires and even run-of-the-mill intruders.

Better than waiting for them to get inside the yard, to whomever boned this idea. |

//350mm rosewood stake // Hmmm, the average cannon shell undergoes in excess of 20000g at firing. I wonder if wood is going to withstand that? |

Reduce the charge, until we get velocities down to around 500fps. |

//with high velocity ammunition // ?? 500fps is air-pistol territory |

I keep seeing "Undead Removal Milligan", and imagining a zombie Spike coming towards me saying "I told you I was ill!". |

500fps is at the very high end of crossbow territory. It's the weight that does all the damage. |

Ok, 6000RPM, through, say, six barrels is still 16 rounds per second per barrel. That's a lot of bowstring cocking. |

I said nothing about bowstrings. I was proposing to deliver them by explosive charge, as I recall. |
