For rainier days than normal, it'd be nice to be able to switch on a very low impact gentle warm air source that circulates warm air from the underside of the desk. That way, one's legs and feet will be dried out eventually.

I like it, but I'm not sure how this differs from an ordinary space heater, much like the one sitting under my desk right now.

Isn't that what the computer is for?

Well, the space heater starts on the floor and goes up to reach you. This starts under the desk and goes down on you.

Nothing against your idea Ian but that is kind of a very fine point of differentiation.
jhomrighaus, Oct 06 2006

I suppose so. In that respect, a table lamp and a ceiling light are the same thing.
Ian Tindale, Oct 06 2006

I think I understand the differentiation that Ian is trying to make. I'd like to have a heat source under my desk on colder winter days, but a regular space heater is far, far too much. Too loud and too hot. I'd like to just have a warm breeze from a small source to keep my feet warm.
