Walls are funny things. We put them up, paint them in pleasing colours and make them as smooth as possible, usually.
Then we poke holes in them and screw little hooks into the holes, to hang paintings and things against our beautiful handiwork. This is fine, until we decide to change the wall
hangings.
New VelcroWall® solves this problem. Available in myriad shades, this soft, velvety "paper" has a self-adhesive backing, to allow simple application to any surface. It's really just large sheets of the "loop" component of velcro®, soft and tactile.
Paintings, posters, kitchen equipment, toilet roll holders, light fittings, books, sports equipment, clothes and any number of other items can now be fitted with the "hook" component, and placed carefully, or thrown carelessly, against a wall and remain there indefinitely.
When you sell the house and take your paintings with you, all you leave is memories. No holes in walls.

I was not going to mention dwarf tossing, but since you brought it up, [jurist]. It came up in LOTR 1, as I recall. |

Damn, the autoboner's quick today. |
|

Opportunist! ;-) (+ from me) |

I waited two days! Thank you for the inspiration, [RF]. For the record, [RayfordSteele] mentioned the possibility of this product on the velcro woodpecker idea. |
|
| |
Actually, [UB], I quite carefully avoided the mention or appearance of dwarf-tossing in my link, although I admit to having researched that use first. |

Isn't it funny how the rise of the PC coincided with us being careful about offending minority groups? |
|

New worst chore: vacuum the walls. |
|

Dwarf tossing's in LOTR 2--Twin Towers. In the first one, he says, "Nobody tosses a dwarf," and then jumps. I know I'm a nerd. They're good movies! |

Could work well for teenagers' rooms, when you want to clean the floor. |

Isn't it funny how the rise of the HB coincided with a rise in unproductivity? |

Shhh, yabba, my boss is right here. |
|

What a great idea! Complete walls of velcro! |
|

I do like it, I nearly posted it myElf after [RF]'s idea. The thing is, I'm sure I have seen this in a British museum; used to hang giant tapestries and things. |

That's what I imagined. Using the soft loop side of Velcro® will make the walls look like a soft flock or velvet paper. Easy to clean. |

what about Dual Lock, it's more rigid and stronger |
|

That's great, until you put a foot through the wall, trying to get a book to come loose. |
|

Handy for keeping people prisoner .. put them in a velcro suit and chuck them into the nearest wall!! |
