Video documentation of you in action at you previous jobs to show employers what you can really do and how well.
Also, I'm sure it would be a refreshing change for employers who I'm sure have grown tired of sorting though mountains identically conservative resumes. Knows what to do when Windows crashes

Not to hard to falsify and getting easier by the day. |

Maybe so, but if a person can pretend to work well at least it proves you are potentially competent employee. |

I think this is great. +1 |

I don't like this. From the potential employee's point of view, it will represent an added expense that the probably unemployed person would be better off avoiding. It is also a further opportunity for personal appearance to come into the initial selection stage. From the potential employer's point of view, it means that the initial selection process will take a good deal longer. Employers won't want to have to sit through these things when they can skim and sift the paper CVs a good deal quicker. Finally, who's to say that these video CVs won't be just as insipidly conservative or - worse still - as unbearably "zany" as written CVs are already? |

I'd rather see samples of the person's work, rather than video of the person AT work, for most jobs. And that can be done without video, unless the job in question is in film or TV production. |

The AT work versions are baked for news anchors, broadcast positions, pornstars, stunt practioners, some sports and, of course, acting. |

Reference letters are a dying tradition as the carry with them the spectre of legal liability. |

"Boss? Oh, yeah, this film crew following me about...um, they're just doing a documentary on Xeroxing and stapling..." |
