Virus, Will Robinson, Virus!

Make it so blatantly obvious, you can be blamed for being infected.

I've been thinking of this for a while.. why not make a virus that is so blatantly obvious that any person that becomes infected can then be "gently reminded" of what viruses are. (read: laughing and pointing ;)

Comes as an email virus, exploiting the old outlook bugs with a subject of "Virus", the body says something slong the lines of "This is a virus. If you click this file (Virus.exe), you will be infected with a virus" then it goes on to list the people who have already been infected ( including name & email address at least ). Then, of course, it propigates using outlook/messenger/hotmail.

Let the pointing and laughing commence :)

I half-baked something very much like this under my [devnull] account. See link.

Yes, and I wish you had posted that one back... I liked it quite a bit.

I may yet, but not any time soon. My last re-post went very badly. It seemed the climate of the day went against such actions.

[brenna] Nice :) Glad to see the universal mind is still strong ;) (Though I thought your post could do with some (tm) just for licensing fun ;)

Yeah, screw the climate of the day. Make your own climate.

I just made a small cloud. I'm working my way up to a localised storm. *face creases in concentration*.

That's a face crease? I thought it was wilted lettuce.
