Washing while you work.

I took a second look at the bicycle. The back wheel was big, too big... way too big. It must have been a good foot wide.

Then I realised there was a clear panel where there should have been spokes. Behind the clear panel I could see a couple of white shirts and what looked like a towel.

This was actually a front-loading washing machine, inside a bicycle wheel. The extra wide rear tyre made the bike more stable and your wash got done during the commute to work.

I guessed the clothes could soak all day and then the spin cycle would come on the way home.

       Pedal faster Gilligan!

I see the patent for attachment to a vehicle's existing wheel, [Klaatu].

This idea is significantly novel, insofar as the device forms the wheel assembly, and does not require fitment and removal, as does that invention. I thought of adding a level of complexity, by running an eccentric gear to agitate the inner assembly back and forth, but the effect on a cycle would be far too destabilising.
