The store I shop recently closed. The pharmacist I dealt with their left between the time she told me they were closing and the next time I went back. So the link is broken. I've had similar things happen with a carpenter and barber. This idea is for a web site that would let people store their name,
previous employers, and current employer. No other info would be on the list. It would be fully searchable so I could type in the name of a store and work my way down to that pharmacist's current location. [link]

Although I really don't think that many people would utilise this service. The fact of the matter is that stalkers are scary. I once had to leave a job (video store clerk) because of harrassment from a female customer, who for some reason deluded herself into thinking we had a "thing" going on. I left right about the time when she began villifying other female customers when I was present. |

Maybe this would be better off as a schoolfirends.com type arrangement, whereby a third party informs me that someone wants to make contact, leaving the onus of the decision upon me. |

I know this isn't what you are referring to, you are trying to maintain a professional relationship with your pharmacist, but I think this system would be open to abuse. |

You did not have to leave your job mate. It's much like your neutral vote here. There is no such thing as a neutral vote. You should have either effed her in the a or you should have told her off. |

I do not vote for this idea because I can not decide if I think it good or bad. |

And me thinking this was about ex-halfbakers. |

my girlfriend may not have appreciated me effing her in the a, and besides, given her mental state she may have taken that as some kind of marriage proposal. I didn't mind moving that much, I ended up more than doubling my salary, but having to work much harder. |

I have this little system I live by whereby one of the rules is that I do not "tell off" people who are obviously emotionally unstable. I call it my "no - arsehole" law, of which there are many rules. I break them as little as possible. |

each to their own, I guess. |

Friends Reunited does something like this. You get to see the list if you were also an employee (or student), thus reducing stalking potential. |

Hehe, like your reply there [Custardguts], sorry I said it in such strong terms. |
