Write directly on your videotape without having to use a label. Use Dry-Erase markers to change labels easily.

I imagine someone out there sells videotapes in various colors, but I couldn't find it myself. Anyone?

I had one, so here's a pic of it. Nothing special. [AfroAssault, May 30 2001, last modified Oct 04 2004]

I used to ship out upwards of half a million videotapes a day. Trust me, there are white ones.

One type of videotape, whose brand I unfortunately can't remember at the moment, comes with a swipe and erase label. It works kind of like the 'magic slate' thing...

The Sony SmartDrive system uses a smartcard embedded in a cassette label which is programmed by placing it next to the player and keying in details using the remote control.

ejs, This means you should delete this idea and *never* come back to it again. Please do not start a flamewar over this observation.
