This wand would have a small nub, made of the same material a teething rind is, on the end of wand. You could put it in the freezer, or put Anbesol gel in a reservoir in the handle, where it would slowly leak out. It would have no cartoon characters or anything; its just practical and generic. This
might offer some help to those going through the process of getting their wisdom teeth. Dentist Alien Theory

I was googling this just now, thinking it must already exist, but I was overcome with dental anxiety. Sorry. |

Your wisdom teeth bothering you? I never noticed mine come in, or if I did, I've long forgotten about it. I did have to have one removed later, because it came in sideways. |
|
| |
Mine have never given me a problem. I just have a fear of dental stuff. |

Trust me, you don't want to be in a classroom full of teenagers with everyone's coming in at the same time. |

I'm all for this idea. Hurt like hell, it did. |

I'm not near as wise as everyone else, the bottom two don't even exist. |

Welcome to the club - youch - during extraction of each - they broke into 6 and 10 pieces, respectively. |

The drummer in my band pulled a bad molar out of his own head with pliers. What is it with drummers? |

<cringes> Argh snarfy... On three separate occasions Ive had a total of 10 teeth pulled including 4 impacted wisdom teeth. I guess I share your anxiety there, but the thought of pulling your own is just horrifying. (BTW Ive never had a cavity that was all for orthodonture decades ago masochism perhaps). |

Personally, when faced with the option to get braces to fix your wisdom teeth, or having to eventually get them taken out, I'd say get them taken out. Braces are slow suffering. Then again, I'm biased because I haven't experienced impacted wisdom teeth, just them going through gums. |

Teeth being taken out - much fear. "I think we need to increase the dosage" "What did they do with my teeth?" 'what did you want them for?, a necklace?' "you just don't understand!, Where are my fu##&^ teeth?!!!" <patient passes out> 'How old are you now?' "I'm 13" 'Oh I guess, we'll need a bigger needle' as@@^&** dentist gets needle about 6" long. I wish that muth#$@&%^$%* would get the chair. I haven't been to a dentist in 16 years because of him. He's lucky I moved to a different City. P.S. No Cavities or Dental Problems in those 16 years. |
