Roland patted "Lauren" appreciatively on the bum as she passed his chair, to be rewarded with a nerve-numbing poke in the side of the neck that left him feeling dizzy and weak. She was one of the best girls he had, among the 15 or so high class escorts he had working for him. "Lauren", not her real name, was smart, sweet, considerate and totally committed to her career path. Even after his take she was still taking away more than a million a year after tax.

Here at "A Perfect Lady or Gentleman" everything was analysed and systems and procedures put in place before a client even caught sight of the merchandise. No senior politicians enduring embarrassment here, no way.

Each "Lady"/"Gentleman" was groomed and trained to perfection, with elite military precision.
- Cover stories were well established, with each operative leading a double life as a single, high-powered executive in their own business.
- Clients' home and business life details were recorded and logged, from their wives' / husbands' choice of perfume, dress style (with attention given to whether the client favoured that style or desired something different) to the names and birthdays of their children, their pets and their friends, their friends' family & children, their pets and their friends' friends.
- Personal preferences, from coffee to food to potential allergies to clothing to reading matter, hobbies, interests, charities and a host of other topics were covered and studied in detail, to ensure the client always felt perfectly at home with their chosen operative
- Clients' schedules and itineraries were vetted well in advance, to allow time to establish "chance" rendezvous meetings with the client's choice, well ahead of time.
- Each operative was exceptionally well versed in counterespionage, unarmed combat, communications, cyberespionage and other skills, to ensure absolute discretion.

Of course, some clients wanted to leave their spouses and make off with a "Lady" or "Gentleman" at some point. That was permitted, but it involved paying out the potential future worth of the desired operative's contract, often calculated to be several millions of dollars.

A service only for the exceptionally rich and powerful, "Perfect" was exactly what it advertised to be except, as far as Roland was concerned, that he was never going to be able to do more than look. These people were way beyond his social standing.

Isn't this sort of a "mobile geisha" type of thing ?
FlyingToaster, Oct 11 2008

I guess so, without being quite so obvious as a geisha. Certainly a very expensive service and fits the HB remit perfectly as it is highly impractical, overly complicated and impossible to implement economically.

Isn't this what Palin is for McCain?
redpandainventor, Oct 11 2008

A substantial percentage of people do it, it seems. I simply figured it would be better to make it really discreet rather than haphazard and public and messy.
