We all say we love nature but we get pretty excited when we find insects and other critters in our homes. Our first reaction is usually to reach for a can of bug spray, leading to a cloud of toxic waste focused on the tiny offender.
'Forever' is different. It consists of a number of unusual products,
such as succinic acid, a range of labdanes, a polymerising catalyst and a base of pine resin, kept liquid in a fast-evaporating hydrocarbon solvent.
You spray it on an insect and it is trapped forever, in copal, which becomes amber over time.
Now, when a spider; a moth; a mosquito; an ant or a bee stumbles into your personal space, you can immortalise the little tyke in an attractive ball of amber, ready to form into beautiful jewellery, or a tiny trophy to your conquest.
Not cheap, but neither is real amber. This way you don't have to wait 30-90 million years. Go ahead... you know you want it. Concurrently posted

Brings a new meaning to "amber room." |
|

What was the old meaning? I've never heard the term. |
|
| |
This was so confusing that I decided to bun it. |

Wow! I had never heard of the Amber Room. Fascinating, thank you. |

What's confusing about spraying a bug with a solution that turns to amber, [JScotty]? |
|

This is actually a pretty sweet idea. |

Sorry but somehow having bugs fossilized to the side of my cabinets and in my carpet might say something about my housecleaning to my neighbors. I like the zap wands that kill the critters. I can then embed the really pretty ones in the instant amber
using a mold. |

What, you can't scoop a dead bug off your floor before it hardens to amber. There's a volume in that, right there. |

I have never owned a can of bug spray. My first reaction is to entice spiders to set up home on my sills and ceilings (I have my methods). |

I'm so happy for you. Go hug a tree. |

In addition to the glow in the dark scorpion paperweight we bought in Texas, my boyscouts have been making and wearing their favorite bugs encased in a clear rosin on their neckerchief as a slide. The kids love to catch their own bugs and immortalize them! |
