while stationary for any length of time, our robot-pal hops out of the bag (backpack, briefcase), finds an outlet (pattern recognition, electrical aura) and charges up its' own batteries and any other batteries it has been given previously, until all are full or it senses a non-trivial movement of it's "garage" at which point it runs back and hops back in.

The Mark II (homeowner's edition) is larger and resembles a large canister transformer; at night it finds the nearest electrical powerlines, scrabbles up the pole and siphons power through induction.

Clean and Green ? you betcha :D

Sooner or later, such pricey investment is quickly seared fatally by a single bolt from heaven. (customer's name on the extended warranty sticker is successfully traced, ...to be heavily fined and prosecuted by authorities)
