I haven't really considered the (mis)uses for this (hence its half-bakedness), but what about medicines that *give* you the symptoms listed on the box rather than curing them? Runny nose, sinus pressure, headache . . .

I believe the "day off" usage, gives this idea wings. It is very hard to mimic cold symptoms. I have personally exercised talking with a nasal twang, (oh wait, I'm from Illinois, I already have one.)
Any way, it would help fool people. |
