I haven't really considered the (mis)uses for this (hence its half-bakedness), but what about medicines that *give* you the symptoms listed on the box rather than curing them? Runny nose, sinus pressure, headache . . .

"FluMist" http://www.cdc.gov/...t/qa/nasalspray.htm
"In children, side effects can include runny nose, headache, vomiting, muscle aches, and fever. In adults, side effects can include runny nose, headache, sore throat, and cough." And it's a vaccine, so it prevents these symptoms, I think. [Shz, Jan 14 2006]

Sounds like a "Free Day off" from work pill. I'll take a bottle of them as soon as you get them made up.

On my current medication, one of the possible side effects is 'exacerbation of symptoms.' How will you deal with this?

       Oh, and death, of course.

GM chemical infused products, as served at most junk food outlets... Laxative - for your twisted logic which I love +

if you read the leaflet that accompanies your medication, you will often find that one of the listed side effects of the drug is exactly the symptom that you are hoping to cure.

I could do with an auntie drug.

I believe the "day off" usage, gives this idea wings. It is very hard to mimic cold symptoms. I have personally exercised talking with a nasal twang, (oh wait, I'm from Illinois, I already have one.) Any way, it would help fool people.

But wait, you really would be sick so calling out sick would suck. bun, no bun.
