If you're going to pay $1000's on an apendage decoration you might as well ensure it will be at its sparkliest in all lighting conditions right?
The ring could be like a regular ring but with a clear LED on the inside which could be powered by teeny tiny bateries or possibly in the same manner as
"kinetic" or "automatic" watches.

Hey bobothefuture, do you know I worked once for a very amusing multibillionaire who had come up with this idea and wanted us to do a feasability study. "Us" was me (supposedly the jewellery PR and marketing "expert"), a couple of researchers (I think electronical engineering dept.) at the Imperial College in London and other assorted weirdos. On a similar note, Swarovski now has these new cases that are completely lit up by a constant fibre optic light, a lot better presentation than their previous cases that had a lot less light. I really like this idea. I see your shwartz is a s big as mine! |
