battery or generator?

1980 invention revisited using nuclear waste for power

a boise scientist invented the "battery" and made at least two prototypes. one produced about 50kw before burning out the wiring. He did quite a bit of research on the idea despite a lot of harassment..including having his car bombed and losing his AEC license for a period. His patents are being licensed by a new england company. My idea is to build and sell these to be put into businesses for charging electric car batteries. you could also put one in a home. think what it would mean if you could charge the batteries without ever hooking them up to the wall outlet. zero emissions, zero fuel, infinite gas mileage, companies like UPS and Fedex could keep spare batteries charged up so they could just switch them when the truck comes in. no nuke in the car means no nuke waste spillage in a crash. We use up the waste at the same time.

Perhaps you could provide some links to details of this battery from reputable sources, and maybe some ideas on how to avoid the car-bombing conspirators who will no doubt pursue you when you take up this idea.

What's a boise scientist? What is so great about making a big battery? What's an AEC license? What are the numbers of the patents? Which company is licencing them? What on earth are you talking about?

Also, if the foregoing questions are set aside, you seem to be saying "Someone has invented a really good battery - my invention is that we use it."

Perhaps you could post an original invention instead of a wish to put into production a possibly fictional invention that has been kept out of production by a conspiracy.

And perhaps I could post an original annotation, instead of merely repeating the previous one.

If there's a cost effective method of generating electricity from nuclear waste, why not just leave the waste in its current secure storage location and install whatever equipment is necessary to generate energy there. Put the generated power onto the power grid.

You can charge your electic car from the power grid whether this invention works out or not...

Please link to info about this 1980 invention. I'd be interested to see how it works.
