I think this would be a wonderful way for celebrities to raise money for their pet charities. The clock will look like the given celebrity, and will have a menu of phrases to choose from for your wake up call. e.g. the Everly Brohters clock might loudly sing "wake up, little Susie, wake up!" or the Steve Martin clock (loudly and rudely)may exclaim "Well excu-u-u-use me! Use your imagination! Think about it: Will Smith, Robin Williams, Marilyn Monroe... saying what YOU program them to say!

WONDERFUL idea! You could probably ensure you woke up, by picking a celebrity you detest? That way you can be sure you would get up, even if only to shut them up!

Isn't that the point of breakfast show radio DJs?

I like philosophus' idea as well. Imagine waking up to the soothing tones of Fran Drescher, Gilbert Gottfried or Roseanne Barr (especially Roseanne singing The Star Spangled Banner!).

I'd be up in a second, and restraining myself from smashing the clock into the wall for a few minutes.

Besides- breakfast show radio DJs are amateurs. Roseanne's a *professional* annoyance.
