I, like most users, fear cookies, rationally or otherwise. We know that most of them are necessary to access certain sites, etc. but there is always a twinge of dread that we are exposing our private, valuable information to some unscrupulous bastard data-mining company.

Wouldn't it be so much easier to convince people to accept them if every now and then someone picked up a cool million or so for accepting a cookie. I'd probably be prepared to cop a small subscription fee if it meant the agency running the program vetted participants.

And to think they said that this moderation stuff would be dull and thankless. Pshaw!

Remember, *he's* the one getting the money...

       Er, wait.

Oh, I'm sure there'd be a skim somewhere in the deal. This is the age of the Infoyuppie, after all. You can't afford a Rinspeed-modified Porsche unless there's a pool of benighted investors funding your childhood dream.

I prefer the Ruf-modified Porsches, myself

[phoenix]: Great satisfaction can be had by giving stuff away.

Indeed, 'tis better to give than to receive.
