heavy jumpers

 Jumpers that weigh alot to give you a bit of a work out.

If you wore a chainmail tunic you would probably become a bit stronger after some time, and possibly loose a bit of weight.

The only problem with this is that you would look like a bit of a dick. So wouldn't it be good if you could buy jumpers with an inner chainmail core so that you could still be somewhat fashionable.

I did attempt to create a heavy jumper once with very thick string, but it wasn't quite heavy enough and consecutive days of knitting made fingers get very sore from the abrasive string.

Maybe somebody could invent a fibre that is a cross between wire wool (stainless obviously) and cotton/wool/nylon or polyester. Then these garments might be able to be produced from single layer fabrics.

Do you think wearing this without a hood, like that on a chainmail tunic, would leave you with rounded shoulders?

I'm not sure similar trousers would work unless they could be fastened to the bottom of the tunic. I doubt there would be enough friction to keep 5-15kg trousers up on their own?
