This cart has a small crane on the front. This picks up the horse and so allows it to have a rest (once at max speed), while the cart coasts for a bit. The cart has a wheeled tail to counter-balance the weight of the horse.

This allows for a more efficient gallop/coast type of operation - though it might be hard to organise a group rythmn among a large number of these travelling down a main road.

Don't worry, it's hard to organize a group rhythm using only horses without carts too.

Perhaps the cart could go before the horse.

       2 fries, :)

A fine, trotally half-baked idea! [+] *wonders which would win in a long-distance race between horses with horse scooters, and horses on horcycles*
