Hard to say a good chemical for this..something that doesnt produce gas. But maybe a crystalline thing maybe so its slow to break up. A metal would be fun..could light your burps

       what's wrong with soup?

po, Jun 25 2007

soup can't get too hot and cools down by the time it leaves your mouth...a hot mouth cools fast. pills are neat and tiny. soup is tasty but bulky

       Stick it up your arse.

A solid, conveniently retrievable module could heat you from within without resorting to all those troublesome chemicals.

That sounds like something the Russians would invent, zen.

I've seen this elsewhere here. There was talk of using sodium, etc, I can't remember what I suggested but there was a fair bit of chemistry involved.

       I'll look for the link
