A fish tank sized lava lamp houses a meticulously detailed miniature landscape scene with a series of water falls and a pond or creek at its base. The pond is a sloping drain which causes the descending "lava" to leave the scene before being heated and rising up the back of the tank where it has no choice but to follow your carefully constructed water ways, languidly blobbing over the falls on its way back down.
