i have seen the idea of a cool pillow , but often wondered why not have a reverse electric blanket for hot summer nights. i can't help feeling that a fridge type duvet would be too heavy , but why not a mattress that could pipe coolness for those balmy nights? has this been thought of?

Description (displayed with the short name and URL.)

Why cool an entire room, when you only need to cool the occupant of the bed?

You’d layer on blankets, to keep the heat out!

This’d use much less power than a room A/C serving the same purpose. +

This appears to be baked in the medical field, for people who need their body temperatures lowered or elevated.

       Google "cooling mattress."

But do theirs have little pockets to put your beer in and keep it cold while you watch TV?

That's where I find bedpans and ice come in handy [DeathNinja].
