our body as a energy source

use a piezoelectric sheet and a capacitor to store energy from body movements

why not use our body movements to generate electricity?we can use a thin sheet of a piezoelectric such as PZT(lead zirconate titanate) strapped on to our body.Body movements cause compression of the sheet causing it to generate a voltage which can stored in a capacitor. The voltage produced might not be great but it can to be used to run ur walkmans/discmans.

There have been a number of folks researching using piezo to harvest power for personal electronic devices, mostly from shoes. So far nobody seems to have productized it. See links.

1- because the components are way too expansive

2- there is much more thermal energy wasted around (well, in hot countries, that is)

My watch is powered by my movements. Mmmm... kinetic.
