this is basically google answers on ultra steroids.

combine google answers with a frienster layout and special gui realtime software that basicallly allows a person to post a research problem with subtopics to be researched.

the community of researchers can get paid through a complex time/rank/rating thing or not...it could be free too.

point being, the software allows people to join a real time research environment where people can look at each others' research histories as well as what other people are doing at the time they are online researching, the software would allow you to catalog your research on any given day under certain topics, or subtopics.

the research task can be monitored as it is completed by the person who posted it, and they can give feedback and comments to the researchers both in a realtime and a non-realtime ongoing basis that allows simple easy mass mailings categorizable in many easily programmed forms.

the real value the software provides in in real time coordinating of windows that show people the pages that other people have and are visitng, as well as the descriptions/blurbs about the content of those pages that people have researched.

it's like a real time mark up of the web that's shareable by an online group of people who research anything [as would be found on google answers ]

think inspiration.com software. frienster, instant-messaging with a graphic interface that divides the information and activities in default ways that can be helpful amongst research groups, but that are also programmable for particular configurations where research groups want to optimize certain things.

there's also this software i've seen that allows realtime group editing of a word document. it incorporates that too.
