We need new rock! Enough of this Rap-rock and Nu-metal, How about a completley new approach to modern rock?. Say, rock with tambourines and wash-tub basses? Hobo-metal? Like the firey rock from the 70s all those grungy hippies loved so much! Take all the uncouth and grass roots of Grunge, Punk, and 70s rock and bundle it all together.. What do you get??. Shanty rock?

It's happening already - I saw a shanty-rock band the other day I think, they were called The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster.

There's enough talentless garage bands out there anyway. Sorry. Posting a music genre here is pretty pointless. Here's 3 chords, go form a band: A,D,E.
