A corcertina battery that is charged when extended to voltage limit and
compacts to increase charge density .
Idea is to use a mechnical change to pack electrons to circumvent voltage limit ?? No concertina needed

The surface where electrons are placed is initially a large area in a volume therefore low voltage needed to place the little objects ( they have lots of field space , don't run into each other ) . |

I think this could work, but the other way
round. I half-remember a demonstration
in physics where you start with two bit
sheets of aluminium foil separated by a
plastic sheet to form a capacitor. You put
a few volts across it to charge them, then
pull them apart. The capacitance
decreases but the charge remains
constant, so the voltage between the two
sheets of foil increases hugely. |
