color coded sticker on your car tire tells you when its not optimally inflated

pretty self explanatory. the sticker color must be pressure sensitive or something to indicate when the pressure has gone below a certain level. that way everyone could see when a car's tires were underinflated and let the driver know to attend to the problem. zeev

In addition to the indicators shown above, wireless monitoring systems are available to install on your dash or elsewhere inside your vehicle cabin. [jurist, Nov 10 2006]

I think you'll have to explain how this pressure sensitive sticker would work; unless the tape is directly in contact with the inside of the tire I can't see how it could work.

Also, I think there are already devices that fit onto your tire valve that indicate (with colour) when the pressure is too low.

In addition, many newer cars have dash monitors that will indicate which, if any, of your tires are under-inflated. It's a standard feature on my 2005 Honda Pilot, for example.

Deja-vu - someone posted a very, very similar idea a bit back.
