tire pressure tape
color coded sticker on your car tire tells you when its not optimally inflated | |
pretty self explanatory.
the sticker color must be pressure sensitive or something to indicate when the pressure has gone below a certain level. that way everyone could see when a car's tires were underinflated and let the driver know to attend to the problem.

I think you'll have to explain how this pressure sensitive sticker would work; unless the tape is directly in contact with the inside of the tire I can't see how it could work. |

Also, I think there are already devices that fit onto your tire valve that indicate (with colour) when the pressure is too low. |

In addition, many newer cars have dash monitors that will indicate which, if any, of your tires are under-inflated. It's a standard feature on my 2005 Honda Pilot, for example. |

Deja-vu - someone posted a very, very similar idea a bit back. |
