60,000 Degrees of Separation   (+2, -3)  [vote for, against]
How isolated can you render your closest allies and still be linked?

This game is the antithesis of the 6 Degrees of Separation Game. You must find a continuous route, with as many degrees of separation as possible, an alternate connection between yourself and your sibling / spouse / etc, not using family relations as your beginning or ending degree.

Bonus points for including at least 5 continents.

Does DNA count?
-- Ian Tindale, Jan 25 2008

In Huntington's Chorea, each successive generation begins showing symptoms earlier and earlier, due to a number of satellite repeats that increases with each generation. So in this sense, DNA is able to count, at least some of the time.

How about both being related to Genghis Khan?

Many, many years ago, before I was a child, or an egg or even semen, I was most likely a rapeseed (canola) plant. This plant grew in the same field as other rapeseed plants that were eventually turned into canola oil. My father, as well as many others, ate food cooked in the oil, gained cholesterol that was later converted into sperm and...you get the idea.

Right. Many moons ago, when life on earth began, in the gaps between layers of mica, or in tidal ponds, or in ice, or whichever theory you prefer, you & I were one and the same! Hugz, cuz!

Would you achieve the same effect by simply doing 240degrees of rotation?
