Anti-honk if ...   (-2)  [vote for, against]

"Honk if you ..." is widely baked. But if honking is the bun, how exactly do you give a fish bone in such a situation?

That's where anti-honk comes in. Anti-honk is a honk cancellation device installed in every vehicle. Upon passing by demonstrators holding signs that you don't agree with, you simply activate the device with a flip of a switch and your vehicle will automatically emit a noise cancelling signal in response to other honks that may be emanating from surrounding vehicles.

Noise cancellation doesn't work this way.

Damn, I thought I'd get the kinks out worked out before someone said that, but I have to admit you are right. This won't work. The only way it could work is if you launched a noise cancellation drone above the protesters to create a anti-honk bubble around them that prevented them from hearing the honks, but once you are launching drones, there are better alternatives at your disposal to show your disapproval

You have to do noise cancellation either near the source or the sink. Somewhere where the wave is not considered radially extending.

Could just honk BOOOOO! in Morse code.

_... --- --- --- ---

I don't think a lot of people would get it though.

The few in disagreement usually just give the finger... and I salute them and will defend their right to do so for them since they can't be arsed.

If you had a vacuum canister and sprayed vacuum all over the place that would prevent the noise from propagating.

Extend a large noise-absorbing surface. A water mist would help too.
