Product: Snow Globe
Ash Globes   (+4, -1)  [vote for, against]
Shamelessly derivative

A clear glass or plastic sphere, closely resembling a snow globe. However, instead of snow, when shaken a cloud of volcanic ash is released, settling in a dense blanket over a realistic panorama of a town or city.

Available in Vesuvius, Pinatubo, Krakatoa, Mount St Helens, Mount Pelée, etc. etc.

Contains grimly realistic depictions of incinerated or suffocated victims.

Collect the complete set.

Warning: opening the globe may in some circumstances seriously disrupt commercial air transport. Dispose of in accordance with prevailing local legislation.

As this is indistinguishable from existing snow globes, the solution is to distribute existing globes labeled "ash".

(sound of trumpet going wa waa waah)

I was totally shocked to discover that (on the. subject of corny jokes) that Bob Monkhouse had one good joke...ahem (clears throat) "when I was young, I told people I wanted to be a comedian, and they laughed at me. Well, they're not laughing now".
