Battery Pops   (-2)  [vote for, against]
like electrosweets only with a purpose

The acids found in many fruits are enough to produce approx. 1.5 volts DC which is pretty much that of a AA or AAA battery. Also, due to the variety of acids in fruits you aren't just stuck with citrus flavors or even fruits. Coffee, chocolate and root beer are also viable alternatives.

At first I was thinking that this idea would just have a light at the other end of the lollypop. The juice produced would be more than ample enough for an LED. Then I thought some versions of this confection could have a DC jack on a wire coming from the lollypop so you could power that portable MP3/radio player (small one) when you really need/want to. It only has to stay wet to produce power so you have hours of potential power.

Mom gave me a 'lectro-pop,
tell you why.
All of my gadgets suck her batt'ries dry.
My spit makes power,
so my stuff runs great.
But holy #@&% my fillings ache.

Potato is more popular but atomic sour pops would work better.

Engineer1, I wasn't suggesting lead but they would make the lollypops taste more sweet.
