Carefully, Roland filed away the last of the waste material and slid the stainless steel pencil sharpener into the slot he had carefully carved into the horn on Chainsaw, the retired rodeo bull. A dollop of cyanoacrylate to hold it in place and it was good to go.
The intent was to provide Roland's logomaniacal farmer friend, Dick, with yet another place to sharpen his pencil.
What happened over the next three months beggared belief as first one, then eventually hundreds, of cattle approached the bull and sharpened the points of their horns in the sharpener.
