Fashion: Kilt
Combat Kilt   (+2, -1)  [vote for, against]
Like combat (cargo) pants.

A kilt, with large side pockets. Immune to Unintentional Bumcrack Exposure. Cool in summer. Places to put stuff. Durable.

Nothing is worn beneath the kilt .....

//Nothing is worn beneath the kilt .....//

Except for a small water pistol and a part time flamethrower?

dont forget the radiant heating system

I'd be worried less about an inadvertent display of UBD with this device than I would other unintended consequences.
-- UnaBubba, Jan 02 2008

What about the intended consequences ?

"Loading" an M203 40mm grenade launcher in that manner is not recommended.

Could be easily achieved by means of four, rather than the traditional one, sporran, each positioned at a different point of wearer's personal compass. North the classic purse, East and West as chib holsters and South merely ballast.

This might not work for paratroopers.

// might not work for paratroopers //

Quite the reverse .... additional braking drag !!
-- 8th of 7, Jan 03 2008

-- UnaBubba, Jan 03 2008

<visualizes UB's paratroopers descending earthward, camo combat kilts billowing, patent-leather combat pumps glistening in the early-morning sunlight. Aaaugh! The horror! The horror!>
-- Canuck, Jan 03 2008

canuck, I'd rather we didn't
-- po, Jan 03 2008

// Aaaugh! The horror! The horror!> // Yeah, it is likely to be the cause of new amendments to the Geneva Convention - cruel and unusual.
-- AbsintheWithoutLeave, Jan 03 2008

Could make for an interesting soundtrack to the movie.
