Could be used as either a game that you can eat, or food that you can play with.-- stupop, May 02 2002 Kerplunk http://en.wikipedia...KerPlunk_%28game%29 [stupop, May 02 2002, last modified Oct 17 2004] Excellent.-- mcscotland, May 02 2002 own up, stu. you have lost the pieces - haven't you?-- po, May 02 2002 half breadsticks surely.-- IvanIdea, May 02 2002 Uncooked spaghetti.-- waugsqueke, May 02 2002 I thought about uncooked spaghetti, but it wouldn't be as nice to eat. The game would just have to be larger than usual to allow breadsticks to be used.-- stupop, May 02 2002 Ah, *bread*sticks! When I first read this I thought you meant French sticks and I was bemused, to say the least.-- salachair, May 02 2002 salachair, you're thinking about Fun Pub-size Edible Kerplunk, with grapefruit and french sticks.-- calum, May 02 2002 Well, if you're talking on that large a scale, then I'd suggest using some sort of sausage. Or perhaps carrots.-- waugsqueke, May 02 2002 breadsticks & small fried cambert cheeses falling into a cranberry sauce when they drop. really large chips (fries) & small picked onions, landing in a bar-b-q sauce when they fall. finally, malteasers & chocolate fingers, falling into a caramel/butterscotch sauce. hard cheeses & grapes, with crackers an optional 4th course.-- mymus, May 02 2002 I think I might bake this the next time I have people round for dinner. [mymus] I really like the 'falling into a dip' touch.-- stupop, May 02 2002 stupop, curry dips buckaroo another (messy) classic.-- mymus, May 02 2002 Fondue sticks and dip-able food? Put the lot over a fondue pot and dig in when someone spills....-- phoenix, May 02 2002 You don't want to know what I was thinking when I first read the title...
I seem to have lost my marbles...-- RayfordSteele, May 02 2002 this must be a british game? i had to look it up, but after doing so i saw that it would work perfectly with those very thin, crispy breadsticks served at italian restaurants. would look quite fetching with pimento-stuffed green olives.-- miss fern, Jul 06 2002 I don't think it's British just old. I remember teh commercials for it running during Saturday morning cartoons. My frreind had the game it's fun. But who get to eat it the loser or the winner? I think uncooked fried foods falling, and splashing into hot oil would make the game a lot more interesting. Hmm maybe just something falling into hot chese for the kiddies.-- tedhaubrich, Jun 24 2004 halfbakery
