Fountain Booze   (+3, -3)  [vote for, against]
Just like fountain softdrinks.

Note that this is NOT for fine wine, good beer, quality whiskey, etc. This is for your basic crap copulation enhancers aimed at twenty somethings. You know Butterschnapps, PseudoIrish Cream, Peppermint schnapps, Applemint Martini In a Bottle, Zima, that sort of thing.

Anyway, this is a computerized beverage dispenser filled with large containers of simple syrup, raw ethanol, a water tap, and lots of smaller containers of concentrated flavored syrups for each of dozens of different "liquors". The bartender just selects a product from from the list and a measured amount of syrup, liquid sugar, alcohol and water is dispensed into a glass. Either to be served as is, or added to some more complex concoction.

An advanced version of this device will also include carbon dioxide tanks and syrups for mixers, so that basic bar drinks like margaritas or cubra libres can be made at the touch of a button.

Just like with fountain soft drinks the syrups can be name brand and match the fully bottled versions available at a local liquor store.

My inspiration. [Galbinus_Caeli, Jun 13 2007]

This is something like those custom paint mixing machines?

Gross. I would have thought this was cute as a young punk, but as a mature punk, I have to bone it.
-- normzone, Jun 13 2007

Why is this any less palatable than the same sort of concoctions premade in a bottle?
-- Galbinus_Caeli, Jun 13 2007

My point exactly. Gross.

Hey, you shouldn't be boning the delivery mechanism. I am not inventing the stuff, just finding new ways to deliver it faster and cheaper.

[you shouldn't be boning the delivery mechanism]

Did I just receive a sexual prohibition?
