I see a couple of problems: 1.) the airbag suit might not deploy fast enough to be useful, as when the motorcycle crashes directly, head-on into a wall, and 2.) it might deploy too quickly, as when the rider is sailing thought he air, thus it would be deflated beforte he hits anything.
