This thing is a computer that sits inside a hat. This computer has an audio/video input and some pretty sophisticated circuitry. Baically, it stores visual and audio input and prioritizes input that encomasses the times when I press the "I feel great!" button. It analyzes patterns in this prioritized input and predicts moments when will "I feel great!" based on live input.

After some time the program will let out an audio cue when I should probably be feeling great. I respond to this cue and feel great more often.

This would be a good way to combat bad moods. If great things were going on and you were in a bit of a grump, the cue would remind you to snap out of it and enjoy yourself. Slightly concerned about getting a computer capable of analysing what makes you happy, let alone one that fits into a hat.

Is circuitry and audio/visual input a little magical? There are mood affecting chemicals in the body that are measurable, seratonin, and adrenalin? why not go with that?
