An additional field in the view creation menu that allows you to find recently added links. I find the links added to ideas are often as informative as the annos.

Not nearly as entertaining though.

I think right now, adding a link counts as adding an annotation in that filter's sense.

That'd make an interesting rss feed. Just the links. No comments, no ideas accompanying, no context. Just a pile of links, in the order they're created. Actually, it probably wouldn't be interesting for more than about 4 seconds.
