If the lights are out, you need to find both candles and matches to light the candles. But if the tips of your candles were coated like a matchstick, then you could light the candle itself.
After the first use, you can still use the candle as an ordinary candle. And if it doesn't light, you are no worse off that you would be with ordinary candles.-- GenYus, Jun 02 2004 Inspired by Sodium Candle http://www.halfbake...d_20Storm_20CandlesInspired by Sodium Candle [GenYus, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004] strike it on your denims?-- po, Jun 02 2004 Hey, how about wax matches?-- ldischler, Jun 02 2004 So this is a one-strike candle?-- k_sra, Jun 02 2004 ...or get a torch.
But seriously; Bunage.-- silverstormer, Jun 02 2004 A sane version of DF's idea-- engineer1, Jun 03 2004 Ahhh. Good idea, especially if it was inspired by my idea.-- DesertFox, Jun 03 2004 Had the same idea myself when reading [DF]'s idea. Then I realised it's more practical to just attach a lighter to the bundle of candles with a rubber band.-- FloridaManatee, Jun 03 2004 [silverstormer] - Is that the English torch (flashlight) or American torch (buring stick)?
[FloridaManatee] - Party pooper. :p
PS. Is there any celebration when someone gets their first multi-bun idea?-- GenYus, Jun 03 2004 yeah we all get a free beer! well done! I so remember mine.
sorry forgot to vote +1-- po, Jun 03 2004 [GenYus] I meant English torch. Obviously...-- silverstormer, Jun 03 2004 My inspired idea is miniature road flares. They could come in a pack like cigarettes. Each would burn about 1 minute.-- bungston, Jun 03 2004 I wonder what the King's English is for a burning stick.-- FarmerJohn, Jun 03 2004 halfbakery
