Two screen shirt for example

These would be fashions made with two screens over the outside of the fabric, optimized so that the screens interfere to make very visible Moire patterns.

Thinking it would be more robust if the pattern-making component was embedded in the fabric, like the existing Moire or shot fabrics out there.

My wife has a shirt like that. Two thin gauzy layers on top with a square weave. It's pretty cool.

Speaking of Moire patterns, has anyone else noticed and loved the hexagonal Moires that you get from the mesh cages on motorway gantries in the UK?

I tried this with 3, 4 and 5 layers of fishnets. This improves the decency factor, but as regards patterns, less is moire.
