The reason to do this is that the "Products" category gets so full, that any inventions in the "Products" category get moved off the "Overview" page faster than inventions in other categories.

There are a good number of subcategories in the "Products" category that seem equally appropriate for other categories. Though I don't understand the exact reasoning behind the current classification system, here are some suggestions that I think would cause no confusion.

To the Sports category could go:
Bicycle
Fishing
Sailboats
skates
skateboards

To the Home category could go:
Doormat
Bath
Broom
Coat Hanger
Sex toy
Shower head
shower curtain
Air Conditioner (since Furnace is in the home category)
Cleaning
Drink Marker
Laundry Detergent (since laundry is in the home category)
Pacifier (since baby things are in the home category)
Pillow (since bed is in the home category)
Razor
Toilet paper
Alarm Clock
Answering Machine
Diaper (merged with the child:diaper category)
Home Electronics
Remote
Trash bag
VCR
Wallpaper
Towel

To the Home:kitchen category could go:
Toaster
Waffle Iron
Refrigerator
Cake Pan
Cutlery
Cooker
Cookware
Kettle
Oven
Coffee Maker
Juicer
Microwave

To the Health category could go:
Biofeedback

To the Computer category could go:
E-book
