A poor man's Rant Booth ...

The idea is for a PC game which allows you to add real world images to the game scenario. It would offer half a dozen options; a "streetfighter" setup, a dungeon-like shoot-em-up, and something similar but set in a maze od cubicles, labs, meeting rooms and corridors. You can import JPEG images into the game, preferably of your PHB and cow-orkers, then go round and blow them to pieces with vicious high tech weaponry; excpet for the PHB, who you would pursue with a .22, which makes holes and hurts a lot but rarely kills, then just watch him crawl back into his cave, whimpering and trailing green slime.

Often it is possible to get pictures of your cow-orkers fropm the company web site, or by scanning departmental group photos.

A safe way of getting rid of frustrations.

Wtih some selective file renaming, this can be done quite easily.

//streetfighter//

That reminds me of the time that i made 'King James The VI (I) & Guy Fawks Fighter', becaue i thought it would be quite funny to see karate performed by characters in those crazy hats and fat pantaloons. Turns out it was actually quite funny. Ah well, back to UNIComal, relive old memories...

Surely baked to a crisp with the Doom II level editor?

Wasn't Robert Kennedy assassinated with a .22?

[ sctld ], st3f: Yes, but I'm thinking of a realy sphisticated drag-and-drop editor/manager which really helps you to merge the new image seamlessly into the game as far as possible, including colour, tone and scaling. No messing in Photoshop, it's all built in, and the ability to save completed scvanarios and share them.

FarmerJohn: I thought it was a .30-06 but I'll check. Someone had a go at Chirac with a .22 yesterday.

MORE: Yes, it was a modified .223 round.
