My wife likes okra, but it always reminds me of something from the 'Alien' movies. Why not bring out an official Alien Brand okra, and make the best of it? If you're going to eat something green, slimy, and full of odd, entrail-shaped parts, you may as well get some entertainment out of it.

Ladies' Fingers and Okra, and apparently once a Turkish brand named 'Ege Bamyasi', immortalised by 60s/70s/80s/90s German band 'Can'. Come to think of it, it's not nice. It makes me despair, and sometimes when I get in the bath I find it has somehow colonised 'twixt mine toes.

Long live spinach ('sag'!) instead.
