On Sunday, as the person receives the Eucharist, the priest will simply add the word "and give thanks, for you are hired by XYZ Corp.".

This helps to connect religious and secular aspects of one's life; and makes it more apparent that God should be thanked for the new employment.

This seems fair to me, given how I am unable to respect the right of others to practice their own religion, or lack thereof.
