My online life has been, for the most part, under the name DOGD. I have a site called dogdstar.com, can be reached at dogd@aol.com, etc. People often ask me, whats dogd mean, where does it come from? I tell them its a joke, of sorts. My last name is actually Mand. All my life I have been a man with a d on the end. I was a military brat, and my father always used our lifestyle as the rationale for not allowing us any large pets, such as a dog. If I ever had a pet, even a pet name, I was going to call it Dogd! Here Dogd, here boyd! Then, when the internet and email made it necessary to have a pet name, I got the chance.
