Each dedicated robot follows instructions, and can do simple tasks: Use a screwdriver or hammer. Use a handheld 3d printer head. Cut, drill, or paste. Take pictures for a 3d model. Hold, pull, pinch, turn, press, melt, pour, clean, move (walk, drive) etc.
Some can be multipurpose, but each dedicated
program kicks in for its specific expert task in the robot.
An orchestrator gives it instructions, getting the picture and coordinating them, to strictly follow the instructions, and interact cooperatively one with the other.
The orchestrator can specialize in tasks so each "robot set" can become an expert in its field, replicated and sold.
It is targeted as a home appliance replacing 3d printing with a 3d fixer / builder / changer.
How much would it cost to build the first simple prototype with 3 hand robots and a toolset of 2 cameras and the capability to delicately run a handheld 3d printer, a "plastic healer" heater, and a tiny power screwdriver for electronic device screws.
How much just for a 3d printer that knows how to load itself from the boxes of material near it.
In any case it interacts with the user.
