This idea has anti-bomb netting held up by heavy-lift drones to protect a target from other drones or glide bombs.
The drones are powered from the ground or vehicle using electric cables. They may also be powered by fuel lines, for drones powered by ICE engines. Multiple sets of drones may hold up
different nets that help protect one target.
Drones holding up a netting may move it around in accordance with requirements. For instance, they may move the netting *forward* in the direction of an incoming glide bomb or drone. Or they may move the netting *backward* toward the target, to enable an anti-drone multi-barrel projectile system to target an incoming drone *though* the netting without harming the friendly drones holding the netting up (see link)

Sounds like an excellent method to mark your position for opposing spotters. |

@normzone: true, it makes a spotter's life easier. Drone 'curtains' could stay on the move 'patrolling' an area. They'd be connected by umbilicals to ground-based drones that drag along their power or fuel 'top-up'. |
