Background and incidental music for fishtanks

  [vote for,

It seems to me that if it is on a rectangular screen and has moving imagery in it, we have to put music with it. Films and television — it’s accepted as normal for there to be background music, theme music, intro music, incidental sounds and stings, etc. Hardly a modern television program goes by that doesn’t feature something that came out of a musical instrument or sound making assemblage, in there somewhere at some time. Films especially.

It seems the only exception to this is fishtanks. Perhaps there should be a product that supplies theme music, then background music and drones and beds, and also incidental music and stings whenever significant action or plot changes occur.

[+] but only if you also advocate background and incidental music for microwave ovens

The obvious choice would be the "Countdown" timer music. Just in case there's anyone who hasn't seen Channel 4's best selling TV game show, I've linked a YouTube clip.

...and background and incidental music for rectangular mirrors (obviously only when someone is looking in them)

Ocean sounds to those sky high walk-on viewing rectangles.

The Jeopardy Theme song would be a natural fit.

       Never heard of it.

This could be a Spotify "mood".

How about a "Peter And The Wolf" thing where each fish has it's own theme? So the big fat fish would have a tuba based theme, pipefish would have a flute based theme, ummm, that's all I've got.

What do they got, a lot of sand?
We've got a hot crustacean band.
Each little clam here know how to jam here
under the sea.
Each little slug here cutting a rug here
Under the sea
Each little snail know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter under the water
Yeah we in luck here down in the muck here
Under the sea...

I heard The Nutcracker Suite when I thought of fish tank and music. Hmmm.
